Guides To Show A Corporate Image With Cards

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

The art of networking is perhaps the lifeblood of any commercial venture and letting people know who the company is and what they deal in is beyond important. Business Cards offer all the relevant information in one easy step and can be kept for future reference. Postcards, too, has their place because a lot can be said on this form of communication and will enable the recipient to store the information easily.

For sure, anyone who has ever attended seminars or other kinds of meetings usually leave with a plethora of contacts from many different contacts which will be useful in future. How these contact documents look will make or break a deal in future. Imagine receiving something that is torn, tattered or a little bent, and what kind of image would this portray?

Indeed, these days, it is very easy to go that extra mile and purchase representative identification documents that promote the company in a good light. Some will have metallic writing on, others will feature very clever logos, and still others will give the company a great boost.

These finishes have become somewhat futuristic in that they make the document waterproof, tear proof, and very bright and revolutionary looking. UV coatings offer that great finish with the added advantage of making colors stand out very well.

Many people will be very familiar with these UV finishes without really realizing it. Those tickets that we buy with scratch off number panels are usually UV coated so imagine what an identification document would feel like if this coating was used.

Of course, company paperwork must have a corporate and similar look. Marrying the company logo across all forms of paper and identification tags gives cohesiveness to the array of stationery available. The corporate image is enhanced beyond measure and this will probably inspire people to trust the company and look to them for future business.

Some companies make the mistake of trying to buy the cheapest stationery possible but this usually ends with many problems. If logos are poorly produced, important documents photocopied and therefore not top quality, it may give the impression of being second rate and would think twice about placing business with them.

So remember that, in the corporate world, image is important if the company is going to succeed. Even free gifts to offices say a lot about the company so be careful when working out a gift regimen so that a bad impression is not made. Sending cheap pens with the company name and phone number on will do more harm than good when they leak all over the desk. Very often, the director of the company will leave it to his secretarial staff to pick out several suppliers for him to peruse their abilities to supply, so making a good impression at this point is of vital importance. Do not give them anything to hold a grudge with otherwise business will diminish over the cost of a few dollars.

In the end, just paying a few more dollars for excellent and very elegant stationery could create a wonderful impression and mean the difference between getting great business and losing the prospective client forever.
